Butterfly in the back yard. One more butterfly, much bigger in size, around 3 inches when wings spread wide. It was a little strange to find it in those surroundings. We never had such before around us. I have put in snaps of both the butterflies in the Butterfly link.
The Praying Insect was on my wardrobe. Bowing to its host or may be apologizing for an expected entry that he had made in the house. Looked like it appreciated being snapped, as I did, looking at me with curious eyes, it hardly moved from its place.
The same wooden ward robe received a guest another day. It was a tiny bug. It resembled so much to the color of that wood, that as if it was carved out of the same ward robe. Say...Born Wooden.
This Red Headed Lizard was in the back yard of my house. Toooo shy of being snapped. I had to struggle hard thru the branches of trees in funniest postures to get a few close snaps... I found the struggle was worth it, when I saw the snaps.
The other Lizard that you see here was found crawling on the wall fencing of my friend's house at Baner, Pune. In one of the close shots, it appears like a dinosaur. Click it to see all its snaps.
Flowers.... the fragrance of life. Everywhere around us, let it be the forest or be the crowded street. You see them if you pay them the due attention. Guess which flower is this? Click the flower for more such content.

What say about a sunset at Velneshwar Beach? The golden ocean, the fishers hanging out for their food. I never want to miss that one. And then the early morning sea... the white sand, the glittering lights of fish boats and the moon glow on water.
GOA..... words would fall short, so not to attempt it.

Rainy drive along the Ghats of Amboli !!! Passing along the foggy street under constant showers. It is then, when open eyes see the most heavenly dream. Uncountably
pouring waterfalls, bunch of monkeys bouncing on side wall along the street.... Ever wanted to be above the clouds? That's when you wait by a spot to take a look down the valley... watch the thick clouds of fog passing, they are down there, they are on the hill tops, you are in the clouds.
You don't really want to move away from here. The drenched green treasure. Watch out the song of Nature!
And the Beaches of Anjarle and Harnai... Watch the Bunch of sea birds, the fish, the fishermen, a fleet of fishing trollers. Yes, its one of the biggest fish markets in Kokan. Check out the snaps
Traveling from Goa to Kolhapur, there are ample choices to select a route. Choose Phonda Ghat and you are in a different world. Lonely dark street, rare to find any passers by. Still it is hard to reach up to the fifth gear due to frequent turnings, slopes..... Trees along both sides shade roof as you pass thru.
Konkan & Goa... the heavenly belt on the west coastal line. Mangoes, cashews, jack-fruits and of course, the fish & rice... form the recipe of a relaxed posture of life style of this region. Divinely placed in the ranges of Sahyadri and along the ocean.

destination, way to home, to reach somewhere you desire. But then, is that all what it offers every time? At some time, at some place, everyone of us must have walked a street, when a feeling takes over the mind that the street should never end, that we should never leave this place..... Center for Meditation, a facility raised and maintained
by the disciples of Shree Swami Madhavnath - Sadhakashram at Bhugaon, near Pune. Located amidst greenish surroundings, the Meditation Center stands upon top of a hill. The ambience of this whole place inspires a feeling of dedication within the heart of a devotee. I humbly bow to the divine brotherhood.
